Screw All Guilt: Anna on Celebrating Winter

We celebrate winter with big food.  Stew, soups, holiday cookies, cheesy casseroles, homemade bread.  There’s no snow where we live, so we take walks in the 50 degree sunshine and feel damned glad that it isn’t so freezing.  Soon, though, I think we’ll drive up the hill, where they do get snow, and introduce my son to sledding.

A great present for parents this season, in my opinion is to Screw All Guilt.   All the parents I know and read love their children, and their children know it and feel it every day.  A better holiday I could not imagine.
