Baby-Lust and the Pull of Freedom: Kim on Weaning

I think the edge is more ambivilent than straight mourning, at least it was for me. The pull toward baby-lust is still strong for me, yet the pull toward pursuing my own interests and just experiencing daily freedom is intoxicating. I feel like it is living within all that contradiction that I grapple with adulthood. There is something very strange about really deciding not to have more children that calls up all sorts of things – – I hope we get to hear your voice and insights for a long time!
