Yea Amy for saying it, but so often it’s the first thing to go, or the last thing we do, or we hold it out as one more thing on our list that we need to do for somebody else. And believe me, I know about that. I need to make a peanut butter sandwich for missy AND (fill in the blank)?

But it is really the one thing we DO want, right? Connection with the one we love. Bringing us back to why we all got into this in the first place. And it’s the one thing that gets us out of our heads, out of our “to do” list, and onehundredpercent doesn’t have anything to do with the kids. Some days, it’s the only thing you have that is just yours as a couple.

If you’re saying ew gross right about now, or if it’s gotten to the point that you’re beyond being able to go back to this, then, I’m sorry. I promise I’m not preaching.

But, at the very least, it sure feels good to fall asleep in somebody’s arms instead of staying up all night fretting about tomorrow.
