Perfectionist Dilemmas: Kim on Being Okay with Failure
This question chews at me, as a perfectionist who’s trying not to raise perfectionist kids, which causes all kinds of perfectionist dilemmas. Because what I would really like is to ask, or answer, what would it be like to fail like crazy and still be ok. It gets to be confusing to me to even pinpoint what failure really is — when do we measure? But still, a sense of failure can haunt me, and definitely the fear can make it hard to take risks.
