The Power to Read: Celine on Books

That power to read opens a whole new world. For me the book was Little House in the Big Woods, and imagine my delight that there was a whole series!
When my oldest child learned to read I was totally overwhelmed with joy. Because reading was the most important part of my childhood and young adult life, it was like passing the torch, a rite of initiation.
Now that I am scrambling with three, Emmet is able to escape the frenzy and find a quiet corner to read.
