The Titanic, reprised

You’re not surprised, are you?

Of course she was the Titanic, and of course he was the iceberg.

I’m not sure what it says that these costumes represent just about my proudest moment – until I realize that I brought her fantasy to life, made her dream come true, at least for one night.  And oh, when the compliments started flowing, and she looked up at me and said Thank you, Mommy with such pure happiness – heaven.

Perfect, Kathleen. They look great, so there’s that to be proud of. But, yup. It must have felt so good to see her happy. Isn’t that what we want most of all?

Holy fantastic, Supermom! What great costumes. I bet your heart just swelled at that little “thank you.” Those are the BEST moments!

How in the hell did you pull that off? I knew you had talent, but holy shit! Martha Stewart would be so proud/insanely jealous :)

You’ve been on quite a roll, haven’t you?

I had a “Titanic” moment. Yesterday I wrote a note and put it in my son’s lunch box. It basically said “I Love You!” When he got home he said, “Mom, I loved my little note. Don’t stop doing that.”
